The women in my family have a history with music. My great-grandmother wasascinate by singing and and my mother wanted to pursue the same dream, but in those times she wasn’t allowed to. Sh was the one who motivated me to study a career reaedto the arts. I suppose that in a way she wanted me to live the dream she once had, and I thank her for doing so.

I consider one of my biggest challenges to be finding that push to pick a song to develop. Sometimes it can be har to look at my own work and decide it’s ready or “finished” enough to build up to a release. I’m trying to be better about it now since I began to remind myself that not eve thing has to be perfect as long as i’s something I’m proud of, have a deep connection to and want to share with other people.
